GMW HT4/G High-temperature cam followers outperform conventional oil- or grease-lubricated cam actuators in high-temperature applications. GMW Cam Followers contain a special grease (paste) as a lubrication solution in high-temperature conditions.

They are designed to handle medium and heavy loads and slow speeds from 120 rpm to 280 rpm. GMW high temperature Cam followers provide reliable performance at temperatures up to 400°C.

We also develop GMW camshaft ball bearings with the suffix L/2 that also perform well in low-temperature environments from -10°C down to -60°C and in wet or submerged applications.

The high-temperature-resistant Cam Followers HT4/G bearings have the following characteristics:

Special molybdenum sulphide (MoS₂) grease in mineral oil forms a highly effective lubricating layer on rubbing and sliding surfaces up to 450°C.
The black oxide coating (according to EN ISO 9717 standard) creates a black oxide (Fe₃O₄) coating that ensures enhanced corrosion resistance, good lubricant adhesion, and improved performance. (Alternatively, Manganese phosphate Mn₃(PO₄)₂ can be used as a surface coating.)
