Thermoplastic Polyurethane Lay-Flat Hose is an ultra-heavy duty braided polyurethane (PU) covered hose. The hose is lined with high-strength synthetic polyester filaments, circular-woven and fully embedded in a polyurethane composite material. The polyurethane cover protects it from mechanical damage, forming a single, homogeneous structure without the need for any glues or adhesives. The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is extruded using a unique one-step "braiding" process. This process, combined with UV-resistant additives and ageing-resistant compounds, makes this transfer hose ideal for high-wear applications such as mining and water transfer/hydraulic fracturing.
