Description

There are five main types of carbon brush materials:
1. Metallic graphite material.

Metallic graphite carbon brushes for electric motors are usually made of natural graphite and fine metal powders. Copper is the most common, but silver, tin, and lead are also sometimes used. 2. Silver graphite material

3. Pure graphite

Pure graphite is a crystalline form of carbon that consists of hexagonal layers of tightly bound carbon atoms. Its excellent electrical conductivity and high heat resistance make it important in applications such as electrical contacts, battery and fuel cell electrodes, lubricants, and structural materials in high-temperature environments.

4. Resin graphite material

A resin-graphite material is a composite material that contains graphite particles or graphite flakes embedded in a resin matrix. This combination results in a lightweight and durable material with good electrical and thermal conductivity. It is commonly used in applications such as electrical components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and as a structural material in industries that require high strength, electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance.

5. Electric graphite material

Calcium graphite materials are typically used in applications that require excellent electrical conductivity. Calcium graphite is commonly used in electrical contacts, switches, and other components where efficient current flow and minimal resistance are critical. Its ability to provide a low-resistance path to current makes it valuable in a variety of electrical and electronic devices, including circuit breakers, relays, and power transmission equipment.
