Follow our Step-by-Step Guide and Be the Hero of Your Renovation: Preparing and Installing the Frames: Before beginning the installation of the frames, ensure the area is free of moisture and dust. It is essential to ensure a clean and prepared surface for optimal adhesion. Do not install over bare cement. The paint must be dry and firm. The full curing time for some paints or spackle can vary from 15 to 30 days. Clean the surface thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust. If necessary, lightly sand the application area to ensure proper adhesion. Take accurate measurements of the installation area and mark the wall to delimit the space. Installing the Frames: Roll the frames in the opposite direction, especially the ends, to eliminate roll memory and facilitate application. Remove the protective tape from the back of one end of the frames and begin gluing. Start at one end (top or bottom) and finish in the middle. When affixing the frames, be careful not to stretch them during installation. Press the frames firmly to the wall to ensure proper adhesion. Use closed fists to aid in the attachment. Finishing: Continue gluing the frames, placing them flush against each other, until you achieve the desired result. If necessary, use spackle or white silicone for additional finishing. Painting: We recommend painting the frames according to your preference. They accept water- or solvent-based paints (except lacquer). Painting can be done with rollers, brushes, or sprays. No prior preparation is necessary. We recommend three coats of paint for an ideal finish. Cleaning: The frames are washable. Cleaning can be done with a damp cloth and detergent or creamy scouring powder. Reinforcement with Contact Adhesive: If necessary, reinforce the frame's attachment with contact adhesive, especially at the edges, seams, and when the piece isn't adhering well to the wall.
