It is soluble in water, acids, and alkalis, but insoluble in alcohol. Its aqueous solution is acidic with a sour and astringent taste. It begins to decompose at 530℃ and completes decomposition at 860℃, with the final decomposition product being γ-AL2O3. Applications: This product is mainly used in water treatment, manufacturing high-grade paper, titanium dioxide post-treatment, and as a catalyst carrier.
