The Pre-Oxidized Pan Fiber, popularly known as carbon fiber and/or Panox, are pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile (Pan) fibers, crimped and cut into certain lengths, originating from virgin polyacrylonitrile fiber that goes through the oxidation process, thus acquiring resistance to high temperatures.

As it is a very versatile fiber, it can be mixed with other types of fiber, such as: PET (polyester), Aramid, Cotton, Viscose, etc.

Ideal for the manufacture of pure or mixed yarns with other fibers, pure or mixed felts/blankets with other fibers, etc.

Applications:
. In the form of fibers: yarns and/or manufacture of felts/blankets, carpets, etc.;
. In the form of fabrics or felts/blankets: PPE for welding (against sparks), clutch fabrics, fire blocking fabrics, fire and heat protection garments, thermal and acoustic insulation felts/blankets for automotive and/or industrial protection.

Properties:
1. Extremely light fibers;
2. Material very resistant to high temperatures;
3. Does not melt; does not give off odor; it does not exude smoke; does not shrink, does not melt, fireproof;
4. Minimum LOI (Oxygen Limit Index) of 45%;
5. It does not oxidize or have an expiration date.
