<b>Tecnal</b> was founded in 1973, in downtown Piracicaba, initially operating milling activities of automotive parts and components.<br><br>In 1979, identifying a promising market segment, Tecnal developed special rotary cutting tools for machinery.<br><br>Counting on the board of directors innovative spirit, and continuous team development, the range of manufactured tools increased, allowing the company to pervade various market segments.<br><br>The company quickly expanded, and moved in 1983 to the actual site, at the industrial district of Piracicaba. The new plant was constructed in an area of 450.000 ft2.<br><br>High-tech equipment and a team of qualified employees manufacture in this facility a diversified line of special cutting tools and automotive parts.
