But the process is complex, the manufacturing cost is high, and the heating and cooling processes may cause deformation and discoloration. Therefore, when choosing a process, factors such as product requirements and production costs need to be considered.

Cold heading is suitable for small and medium-sized bolts, such as mechanical and electronic equipment fasteners;
Hot forging is suitable for large-sized, high-strength, and high-quality bolts, such as equipment components for nuclear power, aircraft, automobiles, and ships.
