1. R&D Background: The HBXGN-12 intelligent, environmentally friendly gas-insulated ring main unit (RMU) is a next-generation product developed by our company based on years of RMU R&D and production, in response to the State Grid Corporation of China's standardized RMU design requirements. This product fully meets all technical requirements of the State Grid standard. Through meticulous design and layout during the initial R&D phase, it also incorporates the lower isolation solution promoted by the China Southern Power Grid. Both upper and lower isolation solutions utilize the same set of components, resulting in extremely stable and versatile products. The HBXGN-12 intelligent, environmentally friendly gas-insulated RMU is equipped with a variety of unit cabinet options, including circuit breaker cabinets, load switch cabinets, PT cabinets, metering cabinets, busbar riser cabinets, and busbar tie cabinets. Through side or top busbar extensions, these various solutions can be freely combined, achieving full modularity. This meets the flexible use of compact switchgear in various secondary substations. It also offers automation solutions, facilitating upgrades to intelligent RMUs and providing customers with intelligent power distribution solutions. 2. Scope of Application: The HBXGN-12 intelligent, environmentally friendly gas-insulated ring main unit (RMU) is widely used in three-phase AC power systems operating at 50 Hz and rated voltages from 3.6 to 12 kV for energy distribution, control, and protection. It is suitable for compact box-type substations, cable distribution boxes, switchgear, wind power plants, subways and tunnels, residential power distribution, commercial (shopping) centers, hotels, factory power supply, ports, airports, and other power-consuming locations.
