ASM Standard: High-quality corn, clean, with uniform kernels and no defects, traded in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
Classification by Damage Percentage
ASM1: Corn with 15% to 25% damage, including broken, damaged, or slightly stained kernels. Traded in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
ASM2: Corn with 26% to 35% damage, containing damaged, non-uniform, or moderately stained kernels. Traded in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
ASM3: Corn with 36% to 50% damage, more severely damaged kernels, presence of impurities, and low uniformity. Traded in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
ASM4: Corn with more than 50% damage, intended for alternative uses such as feed or industrial processing. Traded in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
Classification by Variety
ASM Transgenic: Genetically modified (GMO) corn, suitable for specific applications, with or without damage, available in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
ASM Conventional: Non-GMO corn, with or without damage, traded in bulk or in 60 kg bags.
Modes of Trade
Bulk: Corn delivered in large quantities without packaging, ideal for transport in silos or trucks.
60 kg Bags: Corn packaged in standardized bags to facilitate transportation, storage, and quantification.
