How to choose a splice

Choosing the most appropriate fitting for your application requires consideration of the type of connection, the environment, the nature of the fluid and its properties, and the materials that are compatible with your application.

Connection Type: Quick Connect, Permanent, or Detachable.
You need to check the accessibility of assembly and maintenance, and determine the shape of the joint, such as a line, T-shape, or bevel.
Environment: Ambient temperatures must be taken into account, especially extreme temperature changes, risk of frost or UV exposure, rain or humidity, possible splashing of water or mud, the level of protection required when using joints in hazardous areas, possible impacts and vibrations, etc.
Fluid type: The appropriate fitting needs to be selected according to the fluid (compressed air, air, water, oil, etc.), temperature, pressure and required flow rate (depending on the nominal diameter of the pipe [DN]).
You may want to check that the connection meets any standards that your device may need to adhere to.
