Description

The BTMC-10/12/15/16 series of small and medium-sized gantry machining centers (BMTs) are specifically upgraded for large vertical machining centers (1270/1370/1580/1690/1890). They offer the following features: The spindle centerline is close to the Z-axis guideway, eliminating precision deviations caused by spindle head sag due to the large spacing between spindles and the Z-axis. This also eliminates precision deviations caused by the vertical machining table hanging on either side. Heavy-duty roller guides are used on the X and Y axes, ensuring the table runs within the base, distributing load-bearing stress evenly and preventing deformation caused by long-term loads on the vertical machining table. The table's load capacity is approximately 50% higher than that of similar vertical machining centers. The Z-axis utilizes nitrogen counterweights for faster response and smoother operation. The sheet metal design of the gantry structure features doors on both sides, facilitating loading and unloading of large workpieces and simplifying machining operations. High-precision key components: Linear guides and ball screws are made of German or Taiwanese brands, and Japanese NSK/P4-grade tight bearings ensure the high-precision characteristics of the equipment. Standard configuration includes Taiwan's BT50 rotary mechanical spindle, heavy-duty roller guides on the X and Y axes, and a hard guide on the Z axis, which are suitable for rigid and high-speed processing of larger molds, large parts, and mold frames. The beams, columns, and base are all designed with reinforced ribs to improve rigidity and deformation resistance to meet the requirements of high-speed and high-gloss processing. The high-rigidity integrated structure of the beam and column ensures the stability of the machine body under strong cutting and high-speed cutting conditions. Long screw chip removal on both sides + end cutting trolley make chip removal simple and economical. Temperature compensation technology is used to improve processing accuracy under long-term processing conditions. A complete process flow ensures the accuracy and stability of the machine tool. Standard configuration includes a BT50 belt spindle to achieve rigid processing. Optional BT40, 10000/12000/15000 rpm direct spindle, or HSKA63 electric spindle 8000/24000 rpm to achieve high-gloss processing requirements. Optional center water outlet spindle to achieve deep hole processing requirements, optional ZF gear. Wheel box or full gear box to meet strong cutting requirements. The linear rail layout has vertical stepped distribution linear rails for better mechanical structure. Large-span linear rails, the linear rail span is 1.2 times that of the Z-axis. The integrated bearing seat ensures the rigidity and precision stability of each axis transmission system. The special structure of the Z-axis has a constant spindle overhang, which reduces the rigidity fluctuation when the Z-axis moves.
