Xi’an United Pressure Vessel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as UPV) is a high-tech company and belongs to Western Metal Materials Co., Ltd., which specialized in the research and fabrication of process corrosion resistant equipment such as heat exchangers, reactors, columns, tanks and pipe fittings. The materials cover Tantalum, Titanium, Zirconium, Nickel, Niobium and their clad plates and alloys. The products are exported to Finland, Italy, Laos, India and Burma, also widely used in aerospace, military project, nuclear power, ocean engineering, petrochemical, pharmacy, environmental protection and waste acid treatment fields. The predecessor of UPV is Explosive Clad Materials and Welding Research Institute, one part of Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research (NIN). UPV also is one of the earliest R&D centers and factories for rare metal material equipment
